About the Event

  • More than 150 works of art will be on display from 5-9 pm.
  • Rachel Sandene kicks off the reception by reciting her original poem, "Anthropocene."
  • Then Lisa Lebofsky gives her keynote speech, "Revealing Nature's Vunerabilities" while expanding on some of her own artwork on display.
  • Scientists Rob Sutter and Randy Tate then lead a panel discussion "Responding to an Uncertain Future" while highlighting sea level rise solutions and longleaf pine ecosystem management.
  • "Draucker" will play rock and roll music to celebrate the artists responding to our earth.
  • Nourishment will be provided by local food trucks.
